Trentemøller in spring 2027 for three shows in Germany
Presented by egoFM
Anyone who has experienced Copenhagen-based Anders Trentemøller live knows about his fascinating ability to completely draw an audience into his sonic world. Danceable melancholy, you could say. Stylistically, Trentemøller weaves electro with shoegaze, synth and dreampop, sometimes instrumental, sometimes with handpicked guest vocalists. His strong album “Dreamweaver” was released in 2024, living up to its name. It’s beautifully dreamlike, built on an atmospheric dreamy sound that can quickly turn dark (as in “Nightfall” with singer Dísa, who appears on eight of ten tracks). “I Give My Tears,” on the other hand, is noisy and psychedelic—the perfect soundtrack to an illuminating nightmare. His concerts are especially captivating live because Trentemøller not only uses atmospheric lighting and visuals, but also always has a band that can bring the nuances of his music to the stage with precision. When he comes to Germany for three concerts in February and March 2027, he’ll be accompanied by Emma Acs (vocals and synthesizer), Silas Tinglef (drums), Brian Batz (guitar), Jacob Haubjerg (bass and guitar), and of course Anders Trentemøller (synthesizer).
