Where some fall into each other's arms in exuberant joy after years of waiting, others are shocked and throw their hands up in horror.\nWhat's going on?\nAfter their album trilogy in dialect, Dutti & Urkwell are tearing open the fabulous Pandora's box. Whether this step inevitably leads to the loss of their cult status, or whether they open up new dimensions in the triangle of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, will be seen when the record starts to rotate.\nFrom now on, not only the Lower or Upper Bavarian, but even the East-Westphalian or the South-North Frisian can find a new home in the subversive Dichtis irony.  \n\n<strong>dicht & ergreifend\u00ab sell their soul to the mainstream and lose<\/strong>\n<strong>inevitably all credibility.<\/strong>\n\nThat's what a headline could read in the feuilleton, but the following interpretation would also be conceivable:\n\n<strong>Eloquent as never before:\ndicht & ergreifend overcome linguistic boundaries and even gain\nin power and truthfulness.<\/strong>\n\nThe two-country triangle is full of surprises, especially as it is the first concept album by \u00bbDichtis\u00ab and, at the same time, another smack in the face in terms of content, pardon: a high German neck slap, is to be expected.\n\nHalf of the songs are in the familiar dialect, the other half in High German. What looks like a loss of identity turns out to be a general attack on blind traditions and finally includes those who have only nodded approvingly to the beats so far.\nIn autumn 2026, the \u00bbDichtis\u00ab will jump into the ice-cold water and go on a big hall tour in Bavaria and Austria. In spring 2027, the intimate club tour in a set of 3 will follow outside the Bavarian comfort zone through the north of Germany. Whether they sink or swim remains to be seen.\nIf the \u00bbbilingual\u00ab concept album is a hit, the Dichtiversum may expand outside of Bavaria.
