Since the Munich concert at Muffathalle in October 2026 sold out in no time, there’s good news: due to high demand, two additional shows in Munich will take place:
Friday, Nov 27, 2026 + Saturday, Nov 28, 2026
Kesselhaus, Munich
The “Dichtis’” new album will be released in the fall of 2026 and is already causing a stir—and even some outrage. While some are embracing each other with joy after years of waiting, others are throwing their hands up in shock.
What’s going on?
Following their dialect album trilogy, Dutti & Urkwell are opening Pandora’s fabulous box. Whether this move inevitably leads to the loss of their cult status or opens up new dimensions across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland remains to be seen once the record starts spinning.
From now on, it won’t just be Lower or Upper Bavarians, but even East Westphalians or South North Frisians who can find a new home in the Dichtis’ subversive irony.
“dicht & ergreifend” are selling their souls to the mainstream and will inevitably lose all credibility.
That’s what a headline could read in the feuilleton, but the following interpretation would also be conceivable:
More eloquent than ever:
“dicht & ergreifend” overcome linguistic barriers and gain
even more power and authenticity in the process.
“Das Zweiländerdreieck” is full of surprises, especially since it’s the “Dichtis’” first concept album—and once again, you can expect a lyrical “Gnackwatschn,” or rather: a High German slap in the face.
Half of the songs are in the familiar dialect, the other half in High German. What looks like a loss of identity turns out to be a full-scale attack on blind traditions, finally including those who previously only nodded along to the beats.
In the fall of 2026, the “Dichtis” are jumping into the deep end and heading out on a major arena tour across Bavaria and Austria. In the spring of 2027, an intimate club tour follows as a trio, taking them outside their Bavarian comfort zone through Northern Germany. Whether they’ll sink or swim remains to be seen.
If the “bilingual” concept album is a hit, the Dichtiverse might expand beyond the Free State. If the record flops, they’ll likely be mercilessly deported from Bavaria.
For these anti-local-patriotic Berliners-by-choice, it would be a win-win either way—or as they say in Berlin, “eine jemähte Wiese, wa!”
